Collection of Information

Unless you are a registered member of our website and/or loyalty program, Pick-A-Boo Kids does not collect personal information whilst you are only browsing this site.
We do collect personal information under some circumstances, including but not limited to:
• When you register on our website, register for our loyalty program or participate in a promotion.
• When you provide feedback via a form or questionnaire.
• When you send us email.
When you visit our website, we, or third parties involved in the provision of the website (including but not limited to website hosting providers) may record information about your visit. This information is used anonymously for statistical purposes and is not used to identify an individual or an individual’s browsing activities. The information collected may contain:
• Your IP address and/or domain name.
• The pages and resources accessed or downloaded.
• The type of browser being used and other information provided by the browser about your computer and operating system.
• Details of the site visited immediately prior to visiting our site.

We will only use the personal information gathered from this website for the purposes for which it was provided.

We maintain and update personal information collected from or published on our website as necessary or when we are advised by you that your personal information has changed.

 

Data Security

When you make a payment for a purchase via our website, you are doing so directly with our payment provider via a secure connection. We do not record credit card numbers and at no time are your card details handled in our system. Individuals who choose to join our member club, complete online forms or lodge enquiries will have their details stored on password protected databases. Staff members associated with website maintenance have access to our website’s backend system which is password protected. Our website server is also password protected.

Social Hashtags

Pick-A-Boo Kids may utilise the content of any social post featuring the hashtags #pickabookids #pickaboo for the purpose of advertising and marketing activities. If you wished to report a photo to be removed please contact us at hello@pickabookids.com

Currency Converter

In order to offer its products worldwide, Pick-A-Boo Kids uses third party software ‘Best Currency Converter’ to convert currency and Decimals are rounded to facilitate purchase.
"By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency."

 

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING PROCESS
Everything on the Pick-A-Boo Kids is printed just for you, so a lot of thought goes into the way each item is made and shipped. We work with a global team of manufacturers and shipping services to get your order from the site to your door. 

Each item you order is custom made for you, meaning we don’t hold stock in a warehouse somewhere.

When it’s on the way, you should receive a shipping confirmation email. Shipping times vary depending on the product you choose, whether it’s shipping standard or express, and where it’s going. Remember, we only ship in business days, excluding National Holidays.

SHIPPING DAYS
While the majority of orders print and ship within 24-48 hours, some may occasionally take up to 5 business days.
We have a global network of 3rd party printers that are masters at their craft. The type of product you order and your shipping address affect where the product is made. Because of this, your order can sometimes come in different packages and arrive on different days.


Shipping Country Restrictions
We have a global network of 3rd party printers that make your orders. Once you place an order on the site, each item is sent to the independent printer closest to you. Due to the locations of the 3rd party printers and international shipping restrictions, our products are not available for the following countries:
Iran
Cuba
Sudan
North Korea
Syria
Crimea



SHIPPING DAYS
Please note our “shipping days” are Mondays. CUT OFF TIME for shipping is 9am on any given shipping day. All orders placed AFTER 9am on any given shipping day will be posted out the FOLLOWING shipping day. 


SPECIAL OCCASIONS OR EVENTS
If your order is for a special occasion or event, we request that you leave a NOTE on your order AND purchase Express Post on checkout if you require your order by a certain date. Refer below for more information regarding Express Post.
If your package is going to a workplace, please include the business name so that it arrives promptly.


REGISTERED POST RECOMMENDED
Pick-A-Boo Kids takes no responsibility for lost or missing parcels. We therefore recommend REGISTERED POST (unless you require your parcel urgently in which case we recommend Express Post with signature) and require all customers to check the postal address entered for accuracy.

EXPRESS POST
If you require your shipment urgently, please be sure to select the EXPRESS POST option on checkout. Express post orders placed on a shipping day will be posted the following day. 
PLEASE NOTE: Although it can be tracked, please note that Express parcels will be left on door steps or in letter boxes by local Post service workers. If you request that we "leave your parcel on the doorstep if not at home", please note we take no responsibility for lost or stolen parcels. Parcels/orders that are lost or stolen will not be replaced or refunded. Postage cost for re-shipping orders returned to sender due to incorrect address supplied will be paid by you the customer and a handling fee of $4 will be applied.
Customers please take note that Express Post timing varies according to the shipping locality, but usually arrives within 3-5 business days from the date of postage. Pick-A-Boo Kids takes NO RESPONSIBILITY and makes no guarantees regarding the timing or arrival of Express Post delivery via Australia Post.


RETURNS
All claims for broken or damaged products must be reported to us within 72 hours of delivery. If more than 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund on your broken or damaged products. All returns must be shipped back by Registered Post. All costs pertaining to the return of damaged or broken products are borne by you, the customer. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unopened, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Items not in the aforementioned condition will be non-refundable.
Returns will not be accepted for misspelled names, unless the mistake was made by our designers occurred during the designing process for which we require that you contact us immediately or within 72 hours of receiving your product and send images of the product(s) to us via email. Pick-A-Boo Kids is not responsible for ANY damage that occurs after delivery.
Should you wash the product & the the printing subsequently fades as a result, NO returns or refunds will be offered or accepted.
 Please choose your products carefully as we DO NOT REFUND "change of mind" purchases. 
 
To make a return you must contact us first at hello@pickabookids.com within the 7 day return period with the details mentioned above. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice.

Please note you are responsible for all return shipping charges and all returned purchases must be shipped by Registered Mail. 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 30 days.
Please note that refund times are determined by your card issuer and are outside our control.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@pickabookids.com


SALES ITEMS 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.


EXCHANGES
We only replace items including baby hair clips if they are defective or damaged. Unfortunately exchanges and refunds for "change of mind" purchases are not offered. All items are checked thoroughly before posting to you however occasionally breakage may occur during shipping. If you need an exchange on a faulty item, please follow the instructions listed above under "Returns".

To return your product, including baby hair clips and girls hair accessories you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $40, you should consider using a registered post service or purchasing shipping insurance as we don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Currently, Pick-A-Boo Kids ships all customised products worldwide. All international parcels shipping prices will be displayed at checkout. Tracking is available for international deliveries. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery depending on your location. If you would like your parcel urgently, please contact us regarding express shipping options via email hello@pickabookids.com. If you choose Express or Registered, please note that these parcels are trackable. Pick-A-Boo Kids takes no responsibility for timing of delivery of parcels once these parcels have been dispatched.
All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and our prices do not include relevant overseas duties or other customs charges that may be applicable in your jurisdiction. Such customs/import duties and associated fees are charged within your own country and are not included in Pick-A-Boo Kids postage charges. We cannot predict what these charges may be and so, if you have any questions regarding such duties/custom charges, please contact your local customs office for more information. Pick-A-Boo Kids cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order and also do not accept returns in this instance. Pick-A-Boo Kids will not be held responsible for any loss that occurs in connection with customs/import duties payable in respect of your order.
